September in Review

Spring is here, which is traditionally the busiest time of the year in the real estate market. Things tend to ramp up at a slightly different time each year due to a variety of factors and after a quiet start to September we got extremely busy before and after the AFL grand final weekend.

We captured a great variety of properties once again including residential, commercial, land and some other building projects and childcare centres. Take a look at some of our latest work and also find out more about Operations Manager Amy!

Meet the Team: Amy
Role: Operations Manager
Time at NCPro Visuals: 8 years

What’s the most used app on your phone?

Google Maps is right up there. I use it all the time so I know how long it will take me to get somewhere and it lets me know my arrival time... plus I'm horrible at directions. Google Calendar and Facebook Messenger are up there too.

What’s a movie or show you never get tired of rewatching?

Friends and early Simpsons seasons. I have no idea what has happened in the last 20 seasons of The Simpsons, so just stick to the classic seasons. I haven't watched any for a while but RomComs from the 90s and early 2000s are always good to watch when I don't want anything heavy duty.

What’s something on your bucket list?

To see the snow. I've just never had the opportunity to go.

Do you have a favourite holiday or tradition?

We like to travel to Bright every summer holidays with the kids, but any holiday time is great.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Photography wise is not to compare yourself to other photographers but only to the photographer you used to be. We all start somewhere.

What’s the weirdest or most interesting job you’ve ever had?

This job is the most interesting. You don't always know what you're walking into. It could be an amazing renovation, a new build, a fixer upper, or a welcoming old family home with lots of history behind it. Sometimes it's the people I meet along the way that make the job interesting. I have lots of stories...

If your life were a movie, what would it be called?

Where to next!

What’s the first thing you do when you get home from work?

Lug all my gear inside and change into some comfy PJs... that's if I don't have to go out again.

What was your dream job as a kid?

Photographer. I remember wanting to be a photographer as early as 8. I loved the look of black and white photos and loved looking through boxes and albums of old family photos.

What’s one song that instantly puts you in a good mood?

I've heard it pop up in a few reels recently and it's made me feel happy. The Ducktales Theme song.

What’s your favourite childhood cartoon or show?

Not a cartoon but I used to love The Sooty Show with Sooty, Sweep and Soo.

What’s something silly that never fails to make you laugh?

The silly things my kids say. We recently went to a netball club night and as the teams were being introduced the captains were being called. My youngest leaned in and asked me if one of the girls was a pilot... so cute and it made me chuckle.
