February in Review
The team completed a great variety of work across Victoria and Queensland in February. With the Master Builders Victoria Building Excellence Awards coming up we always get an influx of jobs from builders needing photography of their completed projects. We are more than happy to accommodate any last minute requests and have the team available to complete this work at short notice. We also work with many builders throughout the year capturing completed projects before handover to their clients. These award submissions included some of BG’s Pools & Spas spectacular swimming pools across regional Victoria and also the newly completed Golden Square Fire Station by Bowden Corp.
We were excited to start working with Scott Banks Real Estate Group this month on their new Savvier brand. Savvier is a genuinely new concept in housing, designed for professionals who want a high quality, private and well considered living environment. We captured some of the first completed Savvier projects in Melbourne including photography, virtual tours and video content. It is a really exciting brand and concept and we look forward to continuing to work with them as it grows. You can find out more about Savvier here.
Hilton Surfers Paradise
We returned to Hilton Surfers Paradise to capture another apartment after the last one we photographed returned a record result for the agent! Always great to get feedback like this from our clients.
Lincoln Lifestyle Kangaroo Flat
We have been working with Lincoln Place on a couple of projects and this month captured photography and video content for their family open day at the Kangaroo Flat Lifestyle Estate. Molly and Sam particularly enjoyed the ice cream and train ride on the day!
All Seasons Hotel Bendigo
We continued work with the All Seasons Hotel Bendigo, this time capturing some of their delicious new menu items in the bistro!

Virtual Tours Are Having a Moment -
Here’s Why
Virtual Tours have been a topic we have covered before but with a noticeable increase in demand recently it feels like the right time to revisit it. We are completing more Virtual Tours than ever and it is great to see agents and vendors embracing what is a genuinely powerful marketing tool that has historically been under-utilised.
We have some regular clients who include a Virtual Tour on every single listing. Mitch Kenny from Janelle Stevens Property sums up the value perfectly:
"It's really important to us that potential buyers' expectations of the property are accurate before they've walked through the home. Virtual tours allow buyers to 'see' the home before they've even stepped through the door."
Sacha Dale from The Agency agrees, and highlights another key reason demand is growing:
""With so many buyers relocating from other areas, virtual tours give them the ability to view a property from the comfort of their own homes."
We offer two main types of Virtual Tour and it is worth understanding the difference as they suit different situations and budgets.
Matterport 3D Scan
Matterport remain the gold standard in Virtual Tours for real estate. Their technology gives viewers a fully immersive walk through experience of a home including their signature "dollhouse" view which allows you to see the entire floor plan in three dimensions. Originally requiring their own proprietary camera equipment, Matterport now supports a range of third party cameras making it a more accessible option than it once was. This product works best for well presented homes where you want to showcase every room and space — it is a complete walk through experience.
Virtual Tour
Our second option uses 360 degree camera technology to create an interactive tour on a Virtual Tour site that has the ability to also upload a floor plan for easier navigation. This platform gives us more flexibility — we can choose to highlight specific areas of a property rather than capturing every room, which can be useful in certain situations. We can also incorporate aerial 360 degree images captured by drone, giving viewers an interactive perspective of the surrounding area, views and landmarks. This is a more affordable option and a great entry point for agents wanting to add an interactive element to their campaigns.
If you are unsure which option suits your property or campaign best, feel free to get in touch and we can talk it through.
