June in Review

June was a positive month across the NCPro Visuals team, with activity levels finishing ahead of the same period last year for the first time this financial year. It was a strong way to close out 2025/26 and a good reflection of the steady mix of property media work completed across the month.

Our Property of the Month is 149 Wattle Street, Bendigo - a standout listing that has also performed strongly online. The property video we produced has now reached a combined 43,000 views across social media, with the eye-catching day to dusk transition at the start of the video doing its job in capturing people’s attention.

June also brought the usual shift into the cooler winter market, where listings can sometimes take a little more effort to stand out.

When conditions slow down, it can be tempting to reduce the marketing spend or keep things simple. But in many cases, this is when strong presentation matters most. Buyers are still searching, but they are often more selective - and the way a property appears online can have a big impact on whether it makes the shortlist.

Across June, our team continued focusing on clean, consistent property media across photography, floor plans, video, drone and virtual tours. We have also continued rolling out iGUIDE across more of our shoots, giving buyers another way to better understand a property before they inspect.

This month’s feature looks at why quality real estate media matters even more during winter, and how the right approach can help every listing feel more complete, polished and buyer-friendly.

Drone 360 Images: A New Way to Showcase Location

Drone 360 images are another option we have been using to help showcase properties and sites from a wider perspective. For a recent beachfront development site on the Gold Coast, the 360 view made it easy to explore the block, surrounding streets, nearby amenities and beachside location in one interactive image, rather than relying only on multiple still drone photos. It is a useful tool for development sites, large blocks, acreage properties and listings where location is a key part of the story.

Why Quality Media Matters More in the Winter Market

When the market slows down, strong property presentation becomes even more important.

Winter can be a challenging time for real estate campaigns. The days are shorter, natural light can be softer, gardens may not always be looking their best, and buyers can become more selective with the properties they choose to inspect. In this environment, the way a listing appears online can make a real difference.

It can be tempting to simplify the marketing campaign during quieter periods, but this is often when quality media matters most. A property still needs to capture attention, communicate the layout clearly and give buyers confidence before they book an inspection.

Professional photography plays a major role in that first impression. Clean angles, bright interiors, natural editing and thoughtful composition help a property feel more inviting without making it look unrealistic. The goal is not to make every home look like a luxury listing - it is to present each property clearly, professionally and at its best.

This is especially important for standard residential homes. While high-end properties often have obvious visual impact, everyday homes can benefit even more from careful presentation. A well-shot facade, a clear floor plan, a strong set of interior images and the right hero shots can help buyers understand the home quickly and see its potential.

There are also simple ways to strengthen a winter campaign. Dusk photography can add warmth and street appeal, especially when daylight conditions are less favourable. Drone imagery can help show location, block size and surrounding amenities. Video can give buyers a better sense of flow, while virtual furniture can help empty spaces feel more complete.

As part of our broader media offering, we have also continued rolling out iGUIDE virtual tours across more of our shoots. Virtual tours give buyers another way to explore a property online and better understand the layout before they inspect. It is one of several tools we use to help agents create more complete, buyer-friendly campaigns.

Ultimately, good property media is not only about premium homes. It is about giving every listing the best chance to stand out, attract interest and create confidence with buyers.

In a slower market, presentation should not be an afterthought. It can be one of the key reasons a buyer stops scrolling, clicks through and decides to inspect.
